Maxim\u00e1lna r\u00fdchlos\u0165 t\u00fdchto strojov dosahovala a\u017e 2330 km\/h, pri\u010dom r\u00fdchlos\u0165 zvuku v suchom vzduchu pri teplote 25\u00b0C je 1245,6 km\/h. Let cez Atlantick\u00fd oce\u00e1n trval tri a\u017e tri a pol hodiny a letov\u00e1 v\u00fd\u0161ka dosahovala 18 kilometrov.<\/p>\n<p>Na v\u00fdvoji lietadiel sa podie\u013eali Spojen\u00e9 kr\u00e1\u013eovstvo a Franc\u00fazsko a jednalo sa aj o n\u00e1rodn\u00fd z\u00e1ujem, ke\u010f\u017ee Concorde mal by\u0165 d\u00f4kazom technologickej vyspelosti z\u00e1padnej Eur\u00f3py. Na v\u00fdvoji tak\u00e9hoto lietadla sa krajiny dohodli 29. novembra 1966, sn\u00e1\u010f aj ako reakcia na sovietsky <strong>Tupolev Tu-144<\/strong>, ktor\u00fd absolvoval svoj prv\u00fd let e\u0161te v roku 1968.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jedin\u00e1 trag\u00e9dia Concordu bola jeho ortie\u013eom<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Britsko-franc\u00fazsky Concorde sa vyv\u00edjal a\u017e 15 rokov, v roku 1969 absolvoval svoj debut a do komer\u010dnej prev\u00e1dzky bol uveden\u00fd od 21. janu\u00e1ra 1976.
